Bend Photo Society Revamp!

Being part of the ever growing photo community in Bend, and throughout Central Oregon, we want to create a place where photographers of all skill levels can get together, collaborate, learn, network, grow… and so much more! Whether you’re a hobbyist or a trained professional, we are creating a community to cater to all levels of photography. From networking events, business resources, socials, outings, educational talks and photo contests, we have something for all photographers to grow their passion.

We created the Bend Photo Society to give the photo community in Central Oregon a way to connect with one another. full of activities to adhere to anyone within the photography field. Here’s an overview of our offerings throughout the year:

  • Sip and Speaks

    • Presentations by photographers or industry professionals, on topics related to photography, business and the environment.

    • Interested in presenting or have a presentation idea? Let us know!

  • Outings

    • Meet-up events where we can get together, explore local vistas and shoot.

    • These can be curated by any participant to get photographers together to shoot!

    • This is more of a collaboration opportunity, not a way to “learn how to shoot”. Sign up for one of our Bend Photo Tours, Photo Workshops or Tutoring if you are looking for more of an educational platform.

  • Networking Events

    • Combining with local Networking Socials to get photographers and businesses together to make connections for growing your profession

  • Photo competitions

    • We plan on teaming up with local companies throughout the year to create themed photo contests with great prizes and exposure

  • Community Collaboration

  • More events could pop up throughout the year!

A Bend Photo Society Community Photographer is a photographer of any level who wants to be part of a photo community here in Bend. Whether photography is your career, passion, hobby or anything in between, we want YOU to be a part of this growing community.

AND IT’S NOW FREE! That’s right we are opening up the membership to anyone who wants to be part of the Bend Photo Society Community.

Join our Bend Photo Society Facebook Group and share photos, photo tips, collaborate, plan photo outings, register for events, and MORE!

We plan on making this more of a “community” platform where you can connect with fellow photographers about what matters to you. We also plan on having events throughout the year that may or may not have a small fee attached to cover our costs. The goal is to help our photographers connect and grow in their photo careers or hobbies.
